Are you going through a rough patch and you doubt your confidence level?
Do you want to develop your gifts, but struggle with lower self-esteem?
Confidence comes from a Latin word 'fidere' which means "to trust." Confidence is a state of being clear-headed in trusting that a chosen course of action is the best or most effective.
Self Confidence can mean the difference between enjoying life and being afraid to take enjoyable action. Not all factors that contribute to self-confidence are under your direct control… but a lot of factors are.
A confidence crisis is more than a minor dip - it's more serious. A confidence crisis is triggered by setbacks like losing an important business order, break-up of a valued relationship or losing a job. When this happens, even a small thing can send you over the edge, creating an unwanted crisis.
To protect yourself from such a situation, you need to take control of yourself, and your life. You must learn to ignore external stimuli. Don't be affected by what people say or are likely to say about you. More important, you should not be worried about failure. Believe in the old adage that you cannot win always. There are bound to be failures, or I'd say, feedback, and challenges in life, despite your best efforts. Take them in your stride.
